Well, I've made it home. I pulled into Palm Coast marina in Palm Coast, FL on Wednesday, and my mom picked me up to head back to her house. I'm still planning on moving Justus a bit further down the coast, but for now, I'm happy to be done the trip.
Congrats. Reaching a destination is what sailing (and motoring) is all about. By the way, my brother read your blog and is no longer too sure about the ICW...kind of planning the offshore route. So there, you're already having an impact on readers.
It does feel great to finally reach my destination. As for your brother not being sure about the ICW, if his boat is well found, and properly outfitted, he should have no issues, save for some shoaling in SC and NC.
